Public works crews in the Maryville area are ready for winter weather once again. Last week, they managed to clear snow without the help of one of their vehicles.

"Our 2012 international dump truck had a charger malfunction. Now that  truck is a critical component to our snow removal fleet."

City Manager, Greg McDanel, says the 2012 dump truck is actually one of the newest vehicles in their fleet. The cost of the repair was a little over 10,000 dollars. City works officials say the vehicle wasn't ready in time for today's winter weather.
